Starting with a Site Consultation to walk the areas for design, we tailor our services based on the client’s specific landscape needs. From softscape suggestions to a Conceptual Site Plan and Plant Palette, all will be delivered with the highest level of knowledge and professionalism in our field.

Containers and Pottery bursting with foliage can be the easiest way to warm up an outdoor space. Whether you are looking for an inviting entry way or containers for your balcony, we are ready to create. Inspiration can be pulled from existing landscape, color, and texture preferences to give your spaces the statement they need.

Genesee de Rijke - The Pretty Petal Landscape Design

Genesee is a Southern California Native and a Certified Landscape Designer in the San Diego and North County areas with years of experience. She is an avid believer in regenerative landscape design with a focus on climate and water-wise appropriate plantings. Creativity, communication, efficiency, and vision is what Genesee strives for with all her clients. Listening to their needs and delivering on those needs in every way is what sets her apart in her field. She is experienced in collaborating with other industry professionals ranging from General Contractors to Superintendents to Architects. Genesee is QWEL certified and an active member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers for the San Diego Chapter.
